    • Roana Carran | Director
    • Roana has lived life based on the “do unto others as you would have done unto you” belief. Fair-play and upfront conversation is at the very core of what this ethos entails. Many say this is due to being a 'girl' apprentice in engineering in the 80’s, some says it’s because Roana is from a farming family in Southland and others well they say it’s the career choices after working in suicide intervention in Australian prisons. Roana has a passion for health, safety and recruitment, Roana is a graduate of OHS, has a certificate in marketing, assessor’s qualifications and has won several New Zealand awards.

      Coverstaff Recruitment reflects this in its common sense approach and culture. Roana says she has been blessed by great mentors and wise people throughout her life. Rather than tell you, allow her to show you what Coverstaff Recruitment can do for you.

    • Greg Wells | General Manager
    • Greg holds a degree in Industrial Relations, Human Resources and & Psychology and has substantial experience in the full life cycle of recruitment. With a genuine belief that people are the key driver to success, Greg places great value on developing and coaching his team so that Coverstaff Recruitment can be positioned as the leading recruitment provider based on the service and capability of our consultants.

      One of Greg’s mantras is that “we are more than a supplier of paper for photocopiers” which epitomises his belief that as a knowledgeable and service driven recruitment provider, we are able to add much greater value to our clients than just supplying quality candidates.

      His own ability to successfully consult with our clients on new shift start-ups, shift changes, business acquisition and expansion planning demonstrates the further service offerings Coverstaff Recruitment is able to provide its clients.

  • Sani coverstaff
    • Sani | South Auckland Branch Manager
    • Sani Niuia-Tofa is the manager of Coverstaff Recruitment’s head office branch in East Tamaki, known throughout the business as the South Branch. A member of the team for over 8 years, Sani brings a wealth of experience to Coverstaff gained from a varied employment background. His experience ranges from assembly and cabinet-making work to security and graphic design. Of all his positions though, Sani feels his most influential was working as a registrar of the Family Court here in Auckland.

      For Sani, recruitment has been one of the most challenging and rewarding vocations of his career. With 8 years’ experience now ‘under his belt’ Sani feels he in the best position he can be to give back and assist the growth of his peers, in the same way his mentors have done for him.

      Sani says:

      I am a firm believer in ’your actions will always speak louder than words’ and hard work will always get you where you would like to be professionally. It has delivered me here and I take great pride in assisting other people of various backgrounds and ethnicity on their journey. In my experience it doesn’t matter what language you speak or what culture you’re from, respect is universal. That’s what makes this place, we’ve all been there at one point or another, and we all understand it as people. We all need to work to survive.
