Meet KiwiHarvest!

KiwiHarvest tackles two big challenges with one clever solution:

  • They rescue perfectly good food before it goes to waste and deliver it to those who need it most.
  • Every month, they save around 250,000 kg of quality surplus food, redistributing it to people doing it tough across New Zealand.
How do they do it?

Working with a network of over 125 audited recipient agencies, KiwiHarvest ensures rescued food gets directly to trusted community organisations, who then share it with families in need.

Our involvement

Did you know? With KiwiHarvest, a $5 donation can feed a family of four three meals.

That really struck a chord with our team. Food, community engagement, and helping people are at the heart of what we believe in, so we’ve committed to supporting KiwiHarvest in the following ways:

  • We have directly supported 4000 families in need by donating $20,000.00 to KiwiHarvest.
  • The Coverstaff Auckland team are rostered on to volunteer to assist with food distribution.
  • For every new candidate we work with, we’ll donate the equivalent of their first week’s earnings to KiwiHarvest to help families in need.
  • In August 2025 alone, this initiative has already added another $500 to KiwiHarvest!
